Binh Phuoc attracts FDI with its "4 good" foundation.
In 2023, Binh Phuoc's GRDP growth rate reached 8.34%, leading the Southeast region and ranking 11th nationwide. Also in 2023, Binh Phuoc was among the localities attracting large foreign investments (FDI), ranking 13th out of 63.

Notably, for the first time, Binh Phuoc received an FDI project with a total registered capital of 500 million USD, the largest ever. Ms. TRAN TUE HIEN (photo), Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Province, shared these achievements with ĐTTC reporters.
REPORTER: - Could you briefly introduce the situation and results of attracting investment into Binh Phuoc province in recent years?
Ms. TRAN TUE HIEN: - In the last 3 years (2021-2023), the investment attraction situation in Binh Phuoc province has shown many positive signs, especially in attracting FDI with 146 projects, with a total registered investment capital of nearly 1.5 billion USD, equivalent to 35.6% of the number of projects and 35.17% of the FDI capital attracted after 27 years of re-establishment.
In 2023 alone, the province attracted 48 projects with a total newly granted and increased capital of 824 million USD, an increase of 32.4% in the number of projects and 5.3 times the capital compared to 2022, reaching 275% of the 2023 plan. Accumulated up to the end of 2023, the number of FDI projects in the province is 410 projects, with an investment capital of 4.245 billion USD.
- Among the FDI projects invested in the province, there are 2 projects with large investment capital, namely the livestock project and the rubber tire manufacturing project. Could you elaborate on the socio-economic effectiveness that these projects bring to the locality?
- Among the 410 FDI projects attracted by the province, there are 2 notable large-scale projects. These include the meat and meat product processing and preservation project, with a scale of 170,400 tons/year and a total investment of 110 million USD by CPV FOOD Co., Ltd. at Becamex - Binh Phuoc Industrial Park.
Currently, the project has been put into effective operation, providing high-quality chicken products and food safety for domestic consumers and exporting to Japan, Europe, and the Middle East. The project contributes to the consumption and improvement of quality and value of the province's livestock industry; annually, it creates jobs for about 3,200 workers and contributes about 76 billion VND to the budget.
