"Hopefully Binh Phuoc will be the first choice of Taiwanese investors" is the expectation of Mr. Chang Wen Chung, Chairman of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City during a recent survey by a Taiwanese enterprise delegation in Binh Phuoc.
Recently, Binh Phuoc Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center (ITTPC) cooperated with Economic Zone Authority of this province, Southern Investment Promotion Center, and Economic - Culture Office of the Taipei in Ho Chi Minh City organizes the program “Taiwanese enterprises to survey and learn about the investment environment in Binh Phuoc province”.
Within the framework of the Program, more than 10 Taiwanese investors have conducted surveys in the 655 ha area, especially visiting the waste treatment factory in Minh Hung - Sikico Industrial Park, Hon Quan district.

Next, the Taiwanese enterprise delegation went to the field trip in some areas at Becamex Binh Phuoc Industrial Park, Chon Thanh district.

Through this, the representative of the investor of Becamex Binh Phuoc Industrial Park informed that this industrial park is invested by Becamex Binh Phuoc Technical Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company with an industrial land area of more than 2,400 hectares. Up to now, after 4 years of implementation and calling for investment, Becamex Binh Phuoc Industrial Park has attracted a total capital of more than 1 billion USD; at the same time directly contributed more than 1,700 billion VND to the budget, creating jobs for more than 6,000 employees. After finishing the field trip at Minh Hung-Sikico Industrial Park and Becamex Binh Phuoc Industrial Park, the Taiwanese enterprise delegation attended a meeting with representatives of departments and branches of Binh Phuoc province at the headquarters of Binh Phuoc Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center.
At the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Duy - Director of Binh Phuoc Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center introduced the potentials, strengths and achievements of socio-economic development of this province in the past time and information about the commitments of the Binh Phuoc provincial government for investors. “Binh Phuoc will be a reliable investment destination for many domestic and foreign enterprises and investors in their journey to find investment opportunities,
especially in the context of Taiwan's successful accession to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), opening a new threshold to promote the potential development of economic and trade partnership between Taiwanese enterprises and Vietnam, in general and Binh Phuoc province, in particular”, emphasized Mr. Duy.
