VCCI Ho Chi Minh City: Joining hands to support Binh Phuoc enterprises to develop

Recently, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ho Chi Minh City signed a cooperation agreement with Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Binh Phuoc Province to support the business community in Binh Phuoc province to develop.
At the Office of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ho Chi Minh City (VCCI-HCM), the two parties exchanged information on the organizational structure, functions and duties of each party in investment promotion, trade, enterprise consulting and support … and at the same time reviewed some outstanding cooperation results between VCCI-HCM and Binh Phuoc in recent the years.
In the first months of 2022, Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Binh Phuoc Province advised the Provincial People's Committee to organize investment promotion conferences, welcome delegations from the Consulate General of Singapore, Thailand, the Indian Embassy and the Taiwanese enterprise delegation...to learn about the investment environment in Binh Phuoc, survey Becamex and Minh Hung Sikico industrial parks in the province and meet, discuss directly with representatives of relevant departments.
At the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Duy, Director of Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Binh Phuoc Province said that Binh Phuoc currently has Young Entrepreneurs Association, Women Entrepreneurs Association, Small and Medium Enterprise Association with a large number of members. However, the members of these organizations need to be provided with more knowledge and skills in production and business and need to be connected more closely.

Mr. Duy hopes that the two parties can cooperate to join hands to support the business community in the province to improve knowledge, practice integration skills, strengthen connections with enterprises outside the province and abroad to get a lot of success and sustainable development; actively promote social responsibility to the community through volunteering activities.
Particularly, Mr. Duy hopes that VCCI-HCM will actively help Binh Phuoc connect, invite domestic and foreign investors to come to Binh Phuoc to learn about the investment environment in the province and proposes to establish a VCCI branch in Binh Phuoc in the nearest time to facilitate direct and maximum support for Binh Phuoc business community.
Mr. Tran Ngoc Liem, Director of VCCI-HCM affirmed that VCCI's role as representative of the Vietnamese business community will be maximized in each project activity through connections with business networks, gather recommendations of enterprises and related organizations and provide policy advice to the government on issues related to the macro economy and the business community.
On this occasion, the two parties discussed a series of programs to support Binh Phuoc enterprises to improve environmental management capacity, green transformation and towards the use of 100% renewable energy, saving energy in production business; climate change projects, reducing CO2 emissions, …
