Vietnam Regional Specialties Fair 2024, organized by the Hanoi Promotion Center (HPA) in collaboration with related units, is scheduled to take place from 20-24/11/2024 in Hanoi.
The Vietnam Local Specialties Fair is an annual event held to enhance trade promotion activities, support promotion, introduce and seek outlets for typical local specialty products, and agricultural and food products that meet export standards. This activity supports the connection between domestic and foreign distributors and manufacturers, creating a supply chain; consuming products sustainably in the domestic market and for export; raising consumer awareness of the quality and brand of Vietnamese products, and effectively implementing the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".

Program Information:
1. Program Name: “Vietnam Regional Specialties Fair 2024”.
2. Time and Location:
- Time (expected): From 20 - 24/11/2024 (05 days).
Opening Ceremony (expected): 19:00 – 21:00, 20/11/2024 (Wednesday).
- Location (expected): the Trade Center Square in Vincom Mega Mall Royal City (72A Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi).
3. Organization Scale:
Scale: 4,000 - 4,500 m2, about 250 - 280 booths.
The fair is designed, decorated, and staged to represent the images of regions and areas: Northwest, Northeast, Red River Delta, North Central Coast, South Central Coast, Southeast, Southwest, Central Highlands, and a space for transactions and connections between production units and distribution systems (supermarkets, trade centers, wholesale markets, food store chains, restaurants, hotels, e-commerce platforms...).
4. Participants and exhibited products:
Departments of Industry and Trade, Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, Centers for Trade Promotion/Industrial Promotion/Cooperative Alliances/New Rural Coordination Offices of provinces and cities; business associations, industry associations; businesses, cooperatives, production facilities, craft villages producing and trading specialty products, OCOP products... (agricultural products, seafood, processed food, beverages, spices, gift products...) from regions across the country; some embassies of countries in Hanoi.
5. Program content: product display, promotion, introduction, sales, trade connection, business consulting:
- Product introduction: units and businesses organize promotion, introduce and sell products directly to consumers in the capital and tourists; organize promotions, give gifts, product trials, product demonstrations, introduce stories about products…
- Business connection:
+ Distributors, commercial centers, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, chain stores, wholesale markets, e-commerce platforms… directly interact with participating units and businesses to learn about products, production capacity, supply capacity… seek sources of goods to put into the distribution system, negotiate and sign memoranda of understanding, and product consumption supply contracts.
+ The Organizing Committee coordinates with foreign distributors in Vietnam (Aeon, Central Group, Lotte…), domestic and foreign e-commerce platforms to connect and select products that meet standards, towards export and distribution in other countries.
- Consulting and enhancing competitiveness for businesses; product quality, designs, and packaging suitable for domestic and export market demands and standards.
The fair is an opportunity for localities and businesses nationwide to promote regional specialties to domestic and international consumers and tourists, as well as participate in effective supply and consumption chains in the capital market and for export. Moreover, the event has become a familiar destination for domestic and international tourists to shop and experience the cultural and tourism values of various regions in Hanoi
