The 11th Southern Folk Cake Festival 2024 and the Hung Kings Commemoration Ceremony, held from 17/4/2024 to 21/4/2024 at Binh Thuy Square, Binh Thuy District, Can Tho City, featured various cultural, artistic, and sporting activities, such as the "Dien Bien Phu - Golden History" exhibition, martial arts and wrestling competitions, and traditional music exchanges between Can Tho City and other provinces. This event helped people, especially the youth, understand more about the culture, historical traditions, and origins of the nation, embodying the tradition of "remembering the source when drinking water".

The festival had over 200 standard booths and a large number of businesses from various provinces participated in the exhibition. This created opportunities for localities to promote their brands, goods, services, and key tourist destinations, and to enhance and expand exchanges with businesses to seek partners, investment cooperation opportunities, and establish stable consumer markets.

The Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center of Binh Phuoc (The Center) Province organized a delegation to participate in the festival. At this event, the Center registered 04 booths, which were arranged appropriately to showcase and promote Binh Phuoc's key products and OCOP products such as cashews, coffee, honey, pollen, and turmeric starch. Materials promoting investment, trade, and tourism, and introducing key tourist destinations in the province were also displayed. Participating businesses ensured production and supply capacity, provided information on products, prices, output, and relevant certifications. They displayed and introduced products with clear brands, origins, and guaranteed quality, food safety, and stable, long-term supply capacity.

The Center introduced and promoted the image, potential, strengths, historical traditions, culture, and unique tourism products of Binh Phuoc province to domestic and international tourists, especially those in the Mekong Delta region. This contributed to promoting tourism development and attracting domestic and foreign tourists and investors to Binh Phuoc.

The festival also featured business-to-business and business-to-consumer networking activities, creating a bridge for suppliers and buyers to meet directly for effective trade, understand customer needs and preferences, and improve product quality, develop new, clean, and safe products, and support businesses to enhance competitiveness in domestic and international markets, thereby helping businesses proactively integrate into the global economy.

Binh Phuoc Province's booths were highly appreciated by the organizers and visitors for their professionalism, beautiful display, and local characteristics, attracting a large number of tourists and people to visit and shop. Partners promised to consider, contact, and inform businesses about the quality and necessary requirements to bring these products to some display and consumption locations in several provinces in the coming time. Notably, during the first 2 days of the Festival, businesses in Binh Phuoc Province sold over 95% of the goods brought to the exhibition. In the following days, the businesses' products continued to be replenished, and sales revenue exceeded 300% of the initial estimate.
The 11th Southern Folk Cake Festival 2024 is an effective bridge and a channel to promote investment, trade, and tourism, and introduce typical tourist destinations of the province. Thereby, it helps businesses find partners, business cooperation opportunities, and markets for goods consumption, technology transfer, production and business development, and helps domestic and foreign tourists learn more about tourism in Binh Phuoc Province.
